Deep Water!

We switched our Date Night from last night to tonight, because I am still trying to get my house back in order after re-carpeting my Sewing Room...or what I now call my Sewing Studio. No it isn't any bigger, but it's cleaner, and I have changed the colors to add RED. RED makes me happy and yes my Sewing Studio...is my Happy Place! I will get photos of it soon.
For our Date Night we decided to stay home and watch a movie. The movie we chose was called Chasing Mavericks
Wikipedia...Chasing Mavericks is based on the life of surfer Jay Moriarity. It chronicles his quest to surf the big Mavericks wave in Northern California, and Frosty Hesson  ( Gerard Butler ), the local legend who takes him under his wing in order to train him to survive it. In the course of Moriarty's training, the two surfers form a unique friendship. After he became famous, he died in a free-diving accident.
It was based off a true story and I liked it and didn't like it all at the same time. Why? Well, I loved the boy and the character he played. True and honest and always looking for the good in everyone. He didn't have his Dad in his life, but he still was a survivor and loved and took care of his Mother...who was struggling too. He was one of those type of people that everybody wanted to be around. Solid to the core.
The reason that I didn't like it was because it was all about DEEP DEEP WATER and that is one of my least favorite things. I mean I know how to swim but... I really am scared of DEEP WATER, so it was a bit tough watching that. But I love the whole moral of the story. So if you aren't too scared of DEEP WATER then this is the movie for you.
Good night dear friends!
