What a weekend!

How grateful that we got to watch the girls for the weekend. Our big concern was how Miss Audrey would do, she has never done a Sleep Over yet! But Saturday when she woke up she yelled for us to come get her "Nana! Pappa!" as I went in, I said " who is in here?" her response "It's Audrey Nana, I did Sleep Over!" She was so excited, she had to come in the living room and tell her success to Jenny and Poppa! Yeah!

Then we did chores! She loved doing the dishes!

Then we had to make some delicious pretend Christmas cookies!

Then since it was pouring and cold outside, we decided to do some Elf stuff! Of course we had to wash the table, set up some cute signs and then got making some fun Christmas gifts for their friends and cousins! Can't you just see us in our jammies all day and hear the Christmas music throughout the house? So much fun!!!

Then we watched a Christmas movie and got their clothes ready for church tomorrow! Church went ok...Audrey doesn't necessarily sit still too well, so I am glad that Jeff and I were there to tag team her.
Then after we took the girls home, we got to do some face time with Kai, he wanted to show his cousins where his Christmas elf was when he woke up yesterday! Too cute!

After that we watched the First Presidency Christmas message, it is one of our favorite Christmas traditions. You can watch it HERE:

So grateful I remembered to to bring my new afghan that I am crocheting!

All in all...what a wonderful weekend it was!
My children say I "look" at them WAY too much...I love looking at them! They are beautiful! ;):

What a weekend!

Today was my Stocking Class at Circa 15, it went really well and I didn't stop till an hour and half later. It was fun to see so many of my dear friends, as well as make some new ones. I think everyone agreed with me, that this is the fastest and easiest stocking pattern I have ever done. Good thing because I need do more stockings for my family ...before December!!!! They will have to be a bit different if I do them the new way, but as long as they are as big as the the other stockings...I don't think any one will complain!

So Saturday Jeff took Angie to her Volleyball game, I went to pick up Jenny from a birthday party. We thought our Sleep Over was over but ...we thought that if we could work things right on Saturday then we could have two more days together. Lucky for us...we got it all figured out so we got 2 more days, Yeah!
So we went to Mulbacks for their Fall Festival...just look at the fun we

Look at Angie's face, that is some serious coloring on that ghost sucker!

Then we found the stuffed animals... and so let's just say we had a bit of our time there!

Pumpkin  contests, photo props!

After Mulbacks we headed home and then got showers and clothes out and ready for Sunday, then movie and popcorn before we went to bed.

Then Sunday after church we decided to create something.
Our first concern was for all the animals in the house, where do they sleep at night? :) So we decided to make some blankets and holders for them to sleep in!

Then once we made some for their animals...we thought of a few more animals that might need a home and place to stay. I was able to get them adopted today! Sweet!
Now can you tell why I didn't blog for awhile? I am still tired, happy... but tired!

Weekend!

So grateful that my flu is finally gone. I was able to go out for our Date Night Friday night. A nice dinner at a new restraurant, it was a Christmas gift from our kids! What a treat. Then Saturday I got to spend the day with Amy. It isn't very often we get to spend time together all by ourselves, but John was a trooper and keep the girls all day so we could have some Mother/ Daughter time. We went to a Jewelry show in Tacoma with our friend.  Here is some of the new jewelry that they were showing.

I was pretty wiped out after being gone for the day! Then today the girls, John and Amy came to church with us. After church they spent the rest of the day here. Jeff and I were so glad, it had been about 2 weeks since we had seen the girls. Poor Audrey was starting a terrible cold, but here was a photo that Amy took a couple of days ago. Can't believe how big she is getting. And look at those sweet cheeks.

Everyone else left tonight except Jenny. She is going to do a 2 Day Sleep over with us! Yeah!
It was a nice weekend! Grateful to feel better so we can do things with the kids.
Hope you had a nice weekend too!
Good night dear friends!

What a fun weekend!

Obviously, it has been a crazy weekend... because I didn't write my blog the whole time. Friday morning I was getting my projects for work and was able to do some face time with my favorite boy!

I miss him soooo much! Then I went to work and got to teach Day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas...  it was a neck and shoulder rice bags! It was a hit. Really who couldn't use something like this to help with your sore muscles in your shoulders and back...I know I could!
It was a beautiful day and there were a ton of ladies there... did I mention how much I love my job? Actually, I do love to teach but really love the ladies who I get to spend time with, when I teach. They have become dear friends to me.
Then after work, I did some errands and got home in time for Amy and John to drop off the girls so that they could go on an early Date at the movies. Jeff came home early to help me with the girls. Audrey is getting funnier every day. Here she is in our bedroom, Poppa was putting up new blinds in our window and she and her baby were watching while she played in the box that the blinds came out of. She is also excited about her new Halloween socks I got her.

Right after dinner we headed to church for the Fall Carnival, the girls had a great time. It was non stop action!

Angie and Jenny were pretty good at the Donut on a String Game!

Audrey saw it and just went up and grabbed the donut and starting eating it. She was wondering why no ones were using their hands! :)
Then there was face painting and ballon tying...since I can't stand the sound of sqeaking balloons, I had to let Poppa take them over to that station. The worst was having all those balloons in the car. My shoulders were so tight when I got home, I should have used my new rice bag!

Many of the prizes were candy, I wasn't sure how much they should eat this late at night so I just held all of it in my purse and told them maybe they could eat it tomorrow. They were pretty good sports about it. On the way home, we let them stop by Menchies and get some Pumpkin Frozen Yogurt. They even had magic cups that were plain until the yogurt went in and then all kinds of Halloween designs appeared...pretty cool.

Then we came home and the older girls had a sleep over. They were so excited that I had all my Halloween stuff up. It started from the entrance with our little Halloween mice!

Here is my new Fall wreath on my window, so fun!

The entrance table, the checker board table.
 My block shelf!

 Our mantle!

My quilt and pillow on my chair!

The red hutch, behind the love seat!

My spider web table topper!

My kitchen decorations!

Then on Saturday we got up and watch General Conference on TV. How grateful I am to be able to watch that in our own home.
Later that day we took the girls home and then Amy and I went to the store and got a few things, ok...Audery didn't quite understand that we were getting only a few things...she emptied the whole display in her cart. I won't even tell you what she did, when her Mom put it all back! Let's just say that we knew it was time for her to head to bed.

Jeff and John finished up watching a Football game as we got the girls ready for bed. What a fun weekend this was. It was of course topped off by being able to watch Conference again today. So many things to be grateful for. I am blessed!
Good night dear friends!
