Happy Birthday dear Bradley!

Yesterday was our son Bradley's birthday. I didn't post about it yesterday, because I worked and then it was Date Night. But I didn't want to forget sharing a little about this amazing son of mine. 

Brad was our 2nd child and he was born 3 years after his sister Amy. He and Amy were always be great friends. He (like Amy) from the time he was little... loved to draw, and they used to watch a drawing show each day. Now years later, this handsome son of ours, is a Graphic Designer for BRAVE THE WOODS, you can look at his work HERE:

Glad to see that he put all that drawing and sketching to good use! Now he is doing what he loves everyday! I could only wish that for all my kids, and for all of my family actually.

He is married to his best friend and together they have just bought their first HOME in Texas.

Brad just became a new Father again. He now has Miss Oakley Ann in his arms. He loves being a Dad and it is sweet to watch him with his family!.

He also the Father of Kai,  who is truly his shadow. He is a sweet little man and loves to be anywhere his Daddy is!

Brad along with my other kids have been encouraging me to start teaching my Quilting and Sewing Classes online. It has been so fun watching all of them helping me develop my own business called... LynnMade. He got me this necklace when I was in Texas last week. It has a button, ruler, scissors and pearls on it. He said it was a congratulations for finally starting LynnMade!  How fitting!

Fun to have grown up kids and watch how they continue to bless your life! Brad has truly been a blessing to all of our family! So grateful to be his Mother! Love that boy!

Doing what he loves!

 

This is our oldest son Bradley, he is a son, brother, husband, father and graphic design artist! 

It has been fun to see him graduate from college and doing every day what he loves! I truly think

that everyone should have the chance to do something that they love... every day! He just finished getting his new web site up so I thought I would share that with you tonight! I think as a Mother, that is one of the greatest hopes you have for your kids...to find their passion and purpose in live and to live it!

Getting to know my son Bradley!

 Our oldest son Bradley was only two years old when we moved to Seattle from West Virginia. At that time he just loved to play ball, play outside and collect bugs. As he grew older, I had a craft business that I did in the evenings and on the weekends. Many nights before the kids went to bed, they would help me paint or finish my items for the next craft fair. Many times my inventory was large and there was a lot of work to do. I hoped that the kids somehow would benefit from doing all that painting and creating with me. They all had to help a lot, by the time Lauren and Lee got a bit bigger....I was slowing down on some of the shows and began to sell my patterns to catalogs and teach classes out of my home. I teased that I had to stop making the kids work so hard with me ...because of Child Labor Laws! :)
Still it seemed like all the kids have loved ART, probably because that is what they were first made to do...oops I mean first thing that they were exposed to! :) I have to admit, now that I see my son Bradley as a Graphic Design Artist,  I am feeling a little less guilty about all the work I had them do. He just recently was interviewed and I was amazed at how much art has effected his life for good. He is an amazing artist and so...maybe all that hard work that they did in their youth, really did pay off! So long story short...sometimes we Moms luck out, and actually do the right thing!
