Happy New Year!

I don't think that I have ever been so excited to have a new year! Last year 2008 was tough on our family in many ways, we had lots of surgeries, illnesses, the passing of my dad, and then the return of my cancer so...yes, we are looking forward to a better year 2009!  But, I have to remember that there were many blessings that came from 2008 and so we need to take the bad with the good.

Speaking of good news and good things to look forward to, I am finally able to tell you or I should say SHOW you... what my favorite Christmas Present was that I received.

Amy and John surprised us on Christmas morning with this news. We are soooooooooooooooo excited! Angie doesn't have a clue what this paper said, but I am sure she will love having a brother or sister in August!

I hope all of you have a great NEW YEAR! Thanks for being such a great support and strength to me and my family this past year, I truly don't think I could have made it without all of you faith and prayers.

Also I was going to tell you, if you want to email me directly I have my email account at the right of my blog page www.learningfromlynn@gmail.com that way for sure I will get it. (Thanks Brittany for helping me set that up and thanks Lauren for teaching your ole' mom how to add photos to her blog...the possibilities are endless!)

Happy New Year!
