Children!

I will have to keep my post simple and short tonight. I have come down with a pretty bad flu and just feel pretty awful. Lee has it too. Missed last night with the girls because we felt so bad, lucky Jeff and Lauren are healthy and got to go. Plus, Brad and Krystal sent us lots of photos of Mr. Kai ( the cute vampire ), so we felt like we got to share Halloween with him some.

I loved the quote below...
"Parents need to fill a child's buck of self-esteem so high that the rest of the world can't poke enough holes to drain it dry...     ~ Alvin Price
Our kids and grandkids certainly need us to keep reminding them how special they are. How loved they are and that if they put their mind to it...they can accomplish anything they want when they grow up. The world seems to drain us fast of that wonder, imagination and pure joy out of just the most simple and beautiful things in life!
As I look at this photo of my granddaughter, it reminds me of this very subject. So grateful that I have the chance to help these special kids ...remember who they really are....WONDERFUL!
Good night dear friends!
