Do you have the Essentials?

Today when I was at the mall, my back and leg got really bad. It surprised me at how bad it got so quickly. The last time that I saw my Spine Specialist, she said it is my Sciatic nerve and lower back. I have been doing my exercises to help that. When I parked on the wrong side of the mall and walked all the way to the other side to get to the store that I was looking for. I just had flats on and so I didn't really have any support ( in my defense, I thought I parked really close to the store. I didn't plan on walking very far ). After I made my purchase, I was getting ready to head back and my leg got much worse. I just had to keep sitting down till the leg felt better, it ended up taking me an hour to get back to my car.
By the time I got to the car, I was so discouraged...I am soooo tired of my back hurting. I had been dealing with this for so many years. Then quickly I remembered that I have many things to be grateful for. There are many who have it much, much worse.
I tried to stop and count my many blessing and stop feeling sorry for myself. I have all the things that are ESSENTIAL in life and I am blessed. Just a tough day!
