Last day with my boy!

Yesterday we took Kai on the ferry to Port Townsend, so that we could meet up with his Mom and Dad ( who took a 2 day Anniversary trip ).

He was such a great boy for the past 2 days that we had him. We felt so blessed to have him by himself for a couple of days. We only get to see him a couple of times a year, this was our first SLEEP OVER and it was so fun.
I am so sorry I haven' t written, but we have been going and going all day ...and we just come home to crash each night.

We were able to stop in Port Gamble for potty breaks and a ton of other places for potty breaks.
Jeff and I had forgotten what it was like to travel with a child who is potty training. Actually he has done great.. and he is only 2 1/2 years old!

We of course had to visit one of our favorite places in Port Townsend the Nifty Fifty's Diner. He loved sitting on the stools!
His favorite part was putting quarters in the juke machine and watching it play records!
He also had fun during lunch playing straw blowing games with Uncle Lee and Poppa!
On the way back home, we pulled out the Glow Sticks and put them together on the ferry. That made for tons of fun on the car ride home! What a wonderful day.

I have tons more to tell you about the wedding, and a ton of other family stuff! What a blessing to have all been together. I am going to cry tomorrow telling them all good bye...I can already tell!
